Victorville Girl, 16, Missing; Family Fears Sex Trafficking

Makayla Massey has been missing for over 1 week.

VICTORVILLE, Calif.(VVNG.com) A Victorville family is pleading for the public’s help in locating their 16-year-old missing daughter who they fear is being used for sex trafficking.

Makayla Massey was last seen at her family home in the area of Del Amo Way in Victorville at about 11:00 p.m., on August 25, 2017.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Makayla used an app called “meetme” and posed under the following profiles: Anita Green, 19, from Phelan, Anitta Argintino, 18, Anita Franchise, 21, of Victorville, and Anitta Massey.

“We have concern that she is hooked up somehow with soliciting and trafficking,” stated Makayla’s mom Jennifer Gerrie. Jennifer told Victor Valley News she hacked her daughters email and found all of the different accounts used by Makayla offering to exchange sexual favors for gifts with men.

Makayla’s family has been very active in putting flyers out everywhere and just hoping to get her face out to the public. “We just want our daughter back and safe,” stated Jennifer.

Makayla is a described as a White female juvenile, 16, 5’04, 146lbs., brown hair, blue eyes. She was las seen wearing gray sweat pants, white shirt and carrying a black Adidas backpack. Makyla does not have a cell phone and uses an Ipod that only works when connected to wifi.
