Victorville felon arrested after threatening ex-girlfriend with gun

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Victorville deputies arrested a felon for assault with a deadly weapon following a verbal disturbance with his ex-girlfriend, officials said.
Jermaine Anderson, 38, of Victorville was arrested at a residence in the 14600 block of Equestrian Court after he entered the victim’s home without permission at 1:55 am, on April 30, 2018.
The female victim, Anderson’s ex-girlfriend was inside the house with the male victim at the time. “They confronted Anderson and told him he could not be there. During the confrontation, Anderson pointed a gun at the female and then struck the male with the gun,” stated sheriff’s officials.
Deputies recovered the handgun and Anderson was arrested at the scene. Anderson, who is a felon, is prohibited from possessing any firearms. He was booked at High Desert Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, and burglary.
