
The City of Victorville Animal Care and Control Division will be hosting a dog licensing and low cost shot clinic on Saturday, October 12th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will be held at the City of Victorville Public Works Yard, located at 14177 McArt Road, between Palmdale Road and Seneca Road.
Rabies vaccinations will be available for only $7.00. Bordetella shots will be available for $7.00, and DHPP shots will be available for just $15.00.
In addition, City of Victorville dog licenses will be available. The cost for an altered dog is just $10.00 for one year. The cost for an unaltered dog is $25.00 per year. To receive the discount for an altered dog, owners must bring proof of spay/neutering. Multi-year licenses will also be available.
Payment for vaccinations will be “CASH ONLY.” Payment for City of Victorville dog licenses can be made by cash or check.
The shot clinic is available to any High Desert residents. The licensing clinic is only for dogs residing in the City of Victorville.
All dogs must have collars and must be on a leash or be crated.
Per Victorville Municipal Code, all dogs within the City of Victorville must be vaccinated and licensed. If a dog is lost, and is wearing a collar with a City of Victorville dog license tag, the owner can be easily found and the family pet can be returned safely. A City of Victorville dog license is “A Free Ride Home” for a lost pet.
