VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy and two others were injured following a three-vehicle traffic collision in Victorville.
It happened on November 13, 2018, at about 5:57 pm, near the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Mall Blvd.
According to a sheriff’s news release, a deputy from the Victorville Police Department was in route to assist the Victor Valley College Police, on a domestic violence call, when he was involved in a traffic collision.
“The deputy was traveling eastbound on Bear Valley Road, with emergency lights and siren activated. As he approached Dunia Road, he crossed into the westbound lane and collided with an oncoming GMC Sierra pickup truck. The collision caused the GMC to be pushed into a 2010 Pontiac G6, which was traveling behind the GMC,” stated the release.
The driver and a juvenile passenger in the GMC were transported to a local hospital for complaint of pain. The deputy received injuries to his arm and hand and was transported to a nearby hospital. No other injuries were reported.
