Victorville Deputies Respond to a 911 Call and Locate a Man with Outstanding Federal Arrest Warrant

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 28-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for an outstanding federal arrest warrant after deputies responded to a 911 call for an unknown problem in Victorville.

The incident, which transpired on February 20, 2024, began unfolding at approximately 4:38 p.m. when deputies received an alarming call.

A woman’s voice sounded distressed and argued with another party before the call abruptly ended.

Deputies responded and contacted the woman who accused the suspect identified as Mark Ramirez of forcefully seizing her cell phone and escaping to a nearby wash.

Deputies conducted a search of the area and successfully located Ramirez approximately 25 feet down in a wash. He was taken into custody without incident.  

Ramirez was transported and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for his outstanding Federal Warrant without bail.
