VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Victorville cop was caught on video taking time out of his busy day to throw around a football with a couple of teens in a parking lot.
It happened at about 7:00 pm, on Thursday, May 2, 2019, in the 14600 block of 7th Street in Victorville.
Preciise Davis was in the shopping center when he saw the deputy hanging with the teens and decided to capture the moment with his cell phone.
Preciise uploaded the video to the Facebook group Victor Valley 411and said, “Victorville Police 👮♀️officer takes time off to play a lil football in the parking lot of the indoor swapmeet💯🙌🏾💪🏾👊🏾☺️”
Community members left many comments expressing their love for the video.
Crystal M. Chambliss said, “So awesome.. I wish more people would post stuff like this.. it would help decrease division and stereotypes.. kudos officer🙌🏾♥️”
Another commenter, Pamela Ayers said, “Way to go officer!!❤👍 Nice to see this with all the bad going on up here.”
Friday morning, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department also shared the video to their social media and thanked Perciise for capturing the moment.
“Fresh off of the 2019 NFL draft 🏈, football season will be here quicker than you know it! So, a couple of our young men from Victorville decide to run plays with one of our deputies from Victorville Police Department.
