Event Scheduled for Saturday, April 13

Victorville, Calif. – April is Keep America Beautiful Month, and the City of Victorville is seeking sponsors and volunteers for the next Victorville Community Cleanup Day scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 13.

The City of Victorville hosts Community Cleanup Days in April and October each year to foster civic pride and active citizenship by engaging residents, businesses, schools, and community groups to reduce waste, prevent litter and beautify our City.

Individuals or groups interested in volunteering have three registration options:  complete the volunteer registration/waiver form online at www.VictorvilleCA.Gov/CCU; pick-up a registration form at City Hall, 14343 Civic Dr.; or call (760) 955-8615 to request a registration form.  Volunteers who register by Apr. 1 at 5:30 p.m. will receive a free t-shirt.  Volunteers will also receive discount lunch coupons to several local restaurants and a reusable shopping bag.
