The event will begin with the Freedom Mile Run at 8:45 a.m., which serves as the kick-off for the parade. Registration for the run will be at the corner of 7th Street and Forrest Avenue at 8:30 a.m.
A variety of marching bands, entertainers and military units are scheduled to participate in the parade, which will begin at 9 a.m. at the corner of 7th Street and Tracy Street.
