Victorville City seeks community input for new skate park design


Victorville, Calif. – The City of Victorville and Pharmacy Board Shop have joined forces with the social media hashtag:  #VictorvilleSkatepark2018 to reach the local skateboarding community for input and feedback on features most important in the design of the City’s skate park planned for the Northeast corner of Doris Davies Park.  The survey period opens Monday, Mar. 19 and ends Monday, Apr. 16.

The skateboarding community is invited to join the Victorville Skate Park Facebook Group at to upload pictures and videos of their favorite skate parks.

“We want feedback from community members, skaters of all levels, and from every interested resident in the Victor Valley,” said Mayor Gloria Garcia.  “The City Council is excited that the survey is available online and that Pharmacy Board Shop is helping us spread the word!”

Mikey Macias, District Manager for Pharmacy Board Shop said, “Victorville’s  skate park is becoming a reality, and who better to help design its features than local skateboarders themselves?”
