Victorville Christmas Parade and tree lighting planned for Saturday

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (news release) – The community is invited to attend the Victorville Christmas Parade hosted by the Victorville Kiwanis Club on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m.
The parade will take place on a two mile stretch of 7th Street in Old Town Victorville between La Paz Drive and Mojave Drive.
This year’s event will feature 90 entries including marching bands, military groups, car clubs, civic organizations and Santa Claus. John McMahon, San Bernardino County Sheriff will serve as the parade’s grand marshall.
This family-friendly event is free and open to the community.
Victorville Valley Global Medical Group, KVVB TV and the City of Victorville are event contributors.
The holiday festivities will continue with the City’s Tree Lighting Festival at Victorville City Hall, Dec. 2 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will feature free entertainment, caroling, seasonal vendors and much more.
