VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A California Highway Patrol officer stopped a vehicle traveling 50 miles over the posted speed limit on the I-15 in Victorville Tuesday afternoon.
The agency posted about on Facebook and said the driver was stopped for traveling 121 miles per hour on Interstate 15 in the Victorville area.
The posted speed limit on the freeway is 70 mph.
“He also decided it was a good idea to cross over a solid yellow line and stop in the center median. Not to mention the hefty fine, these two offenses will be three points on his driving record and a his license will be suspended,” stated the Facebook post.
The California Highway Patrol would like to remind all drivers to always yield to the right-hand edge of the highway anytime you are approached by an emergency vehicle with its lights and siren activated (21806(a) CVC).
