Victorville and Apple Valley Men Wanted in Connection with Carjacking

BARSTOW-(VVNG.com): Shooting victim, 19-year-old Eric Anthony Lemus of Apple Valley resurfaced, apparently healed of his December 29th wounds(Victorville Shooting Leads to Two Injured and Suspects Wanted).

Lemus, a past Barstow resident and his co-conspirator, Victorville resident Anthony Lott Jr. are suspected of a January 21st Lenwood road Chili’s Bar and Grill carjacking.

Barstow Police Department deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Lenwood Road in Barstow after a 9-1-1 call was received from a carjacking victim.

The male victim, reported being approached at the vehicle charging station while he was charging his vehicle at approximately 11:55 p.m. when the suspects robbed him at gunpoint.

They demanded that the victim get out of his vehicle while they proceeded to rob him of his personal belongings. The perpetrators were not done, after robbing the man of his credit cards, jewelry and other belongings, they proceeded to get into his 2014 Tesla, electric vehicle driving it away from the crime scene.

When deputies arrived, they collected the vehicle information and began an area search in order to locate the suspects as well as his belongings. The vehicle was located shortly after at a nearby Arco gas station crashed with the suspects nowhere in sight.

The vehicle was searched for evidence, including fingerprints that were subsequently matched with fingerprints in the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department database. The fingerprints matched a convicted burglary parolee, Anthony Eugene Lott Jr. from Victorville.

Per court records, Lott has numerous other past drug, theft and burglary charges and convictions.  Additional investigation led police to Lemus, the recent Victorville shooting victim, also currently on felony probation.

Barstow police conducted searches of locations in Adelanto, Apple Valley and Victorville searching for the suspects, but were unable to locate the two. There is an active investigation and search for the two men, that should be considered armed and dangerous.
