Victor Valley Gas Prices Drop Below the $2 Mark

VICTOR VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- Victor Valley residents are rejoicing over the news that local gas prices fell below the $2.00 mark on Wednesday.

The GasBuddy app. displayed two local gas stations in the city of Hesperia that have reached the $1.99 price per gallon. Those gas stations include the Shop N’ Go at 14518 Main Street, Best Food & Gas at 15188 Main Street and Fastrip at 16117 Main Street in Hesperia.

According to Gasbuddy.com, the last time the region saw gas prices this low was in April of 2009 and the average price per gallon in San Bernardino County is currently $2.34 per gallon.

Victor Valley News member Charlotte Barros posted a photo taken at the Fastrip in Hesperia and she very happily boasted about filling up her tank with just $20.00.

The average price for gas in the States is now $2.30 a gallon, nearly sixty-seven cents less than it was a year ago.

The January unemployment rate for the country dropped from 5 percent to 4.9 percent. Making it the lowest unemployment since the last recession began.

Now that gas prices are at some of the lowest prices we’ve seen in a LONG time. What will you do? Will you save the extra money? Take a road-trip? Or maybe plan a vacation?
