Victor Valley Under ‘Excessive Heat Watch’ Into Weekend

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Temperatures in the Victor Valley are heating up through the weekend, the hottest days will be Friday and Saturday.

A strengthening high pressure aloft will bring hot weather inland into the weekend.

According to the NWS, Friday’s temps in Victorville are expected to reach 105 degrees and 108 on Saturday.

Much of the Victor Valley will be under an Excessive Heat Watch starting July 7th at 11 am through 11 pm Saturday.

“An Excessive Heat Watch means that a prolonged period of hot temperatures is expected, The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses are possible,” stated the NWS.

People are encouraged to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives, neighbors, and pets.
