
HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) –Police are searching for two suspects who they say robbed a victim after agreeing to buy a cell phone listed on the OfferUp app.
Police say the victim agreed to meet two males hoping to sell his red iPhone 8 Plus at Lime Street Park on Monday, September 17, 2018.
When the victim handed them the phone to inspect it-they took off running, stated Hesperia Sheriff’s Service Specialist Edgar Moran.
Deputies along with an airship conducted an extensive search for the suspects, described as ‘young Black male adults’ with negative results.
According to Moran, one of the males was wearing a red jacket and black shorts; the other was wearing a white shirt with black sweats.
There is still an open investigation ongoing and anyone with information is urged to call the Hesperia Police Department at (760)947-1500.
