VESD to Host 2nd Annual Elementary Education Career Fair

Victorville, CA – Victor Elementary Schoo District (VESD) will host their second annual elementary education career fair on Tuesday, February 27, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Victorville.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the exciting careers such as teaching, special education positions, para-educators and more. Administrators and representatives from each department will be on hand to meet face-to-face with anyone interested in working at VESD.
Maureen Mills, assistant superintendent of personnel services, is looking forward to the career fair, saying, “The career fair is a chance for us to meet great people who want to make a difference in our students lives, while having a career that they can be proud of, and that can sustain a family in the High Desert for a long time.”
Along with the team from VESD, local universities will also be attending to talk to those interested in their teaching programs and earning teaching credentials. Additionally, representatives who support educators will have information available including financial services, insurance, scholarship programs and more.
For more information, please visit www.vesd.net./careerfair or call the personnel department at 760-245-1691.
