Verizon Store in Victorville Robbed at Gunpoint

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Two armed suspects waited for a Verizon Wireless store to close before forcing the employees back inside and robbing the business.

At about 9:30 pm, on August 1, Victorville Deputies responded to the Verizon Wireless store in the 15600 block of Roy Rogers Drive, for a reported armed robbery.

Through investigation, deputies learned two black male adults were parked outside the store in a gray Dodge Avenger.

“They waited for the two employees to exit the store after closing and approached them with handguns drawn, forcing them back inside,” stated a sheriff’s news release.

Officials said, “the employees were held at gunpoint by the suspects and ordered to give them multiple phones and an undisclosed amount of cash from the store’s safe.”

The suspects fled the location prior to deputies arriving on the scene.

Suspect one is described as a black male adult, in his 20’s. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and a white scarf over his face. He was reported to be carrying a black handgun.

Suspect two is described as a black male adult, in his 20’s. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and a white scarf over his face. He was reported to be carrying an unknown type of handgun.
