
HESPERIA:(VVNG.com)- A Verizon FiOS outage affecting an estimated 1,300 residents has been reported in the area of I Avenue & Sultana Street in Hesperia. The outage is impacting customers from being able to use the internet, receive emails, home phone and utilize FiOS Tv services.
According to information obtained by Victor Valley News Group member Janine Amelia Ross, thieves attempted to steal copper by cutting the fiber optic line to the network at about 6:00 a.m., on Monday.
Verizon is aware of the issue and technicians are working on repairing the problem. Fiber optic (FiOS) is expected to be up and running as early as 2:00 a.m., on Tuesday.
