VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): San Bernardino County Deputies are investigating a Monday night shooting that left a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
At around 10:47 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station were dispatched to the 15000 block of Henderson Street in Adelanto for the report of a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting.
Per scanner reports, a reporting party, who alleged he was the victims nephew, called dispatch and reported that his uncle was driving on Highway 395 near Bear Valley Road when an unknown black male wearing a do-rag in a black GMC Arcadia with Utah plates shot at the victim’s vehicle.
Deputies responded to the reporting party’s residence where they discovered the male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg and a bullet hole on the door of his green Honda Civic.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. His condition remains unknown at this time.
Victor Valley News reached out to the Victorville Sheriff’s Station and Spokeswoman, Mara Rodriguez, confirmed that the victim was shot while driving in the area of 395 and Bear Valley, but said there is not any other information that she has available for release as of Tuesday afternoon.
