Vehicle Involved in Hit-and-Run Leaves License Plate Behind

VICTORVILLE:( Authorities are searching for a vehicle wanted in a hit-and-run that occurred at approximately 6:11 P.M., on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Per scanner traffic, the vehicle crashed into a fence in the area of Petaluma and Olancha Road in Victorville. The vehicle fled from the scene but not before leaving the front bumper and license plate.

Authorities ran the plate left behind, and it returned to a vehicle involved in a previous grand theft auto.

The vehicle is a dark blue Buick Enclave, plate # 6DXJ534 with moderate front end damage.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911 and reference number VV135.
