Vehicle Fire on the Northbound 15 Freeway
UPDATE: @ 1:30pm – The accident has been determined to be a fatality. No information about the descendant is available. A sigalert has also been issued for the northbound side of the freeway.
(VVNG.com)- An older model Chevy Suburban hauling a small travel trailer caught on fire on the northbound 15 freeway just before the Oak Hills Road exit. According to CHP incident logs the fire was reported at 12:15 PM on Monday.
Traffic on the northbound side of the freeway is a little slow due to the number one and number two lanes being closed while CHP conducts an investigation. Firefighters have arrived on scene and the fire is out.
At this time the official cause of the fire is unknown. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
