Vehicle Fire on NB-15 Freeway

A vehicle fire was reported on the 15-north just south of Oak Hills at 4:43 p.m. on Thursday.
According to CHP logs, all occupants managed to safely exit the burning SUV and no injuries were reported.
The right 2 lanes were temporarily shut down for emergency equipment to access the vehicle.
The fire spread to near by vegetation causing US Forrest service to responded to the incident for a 1/2 acre vegetation fire that was quickly contained. Cal fire was also dispatched but later cancelled.
