HESPERIA, Calif:(VVNG.com)- Police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a utility pole on the 18600 block of Vine Street near Choiceana Avenue. The single vehicle crash was reported at about 9:00 P.M., on Saturday, December 26, 2015.
The wooden utility pole was severely damaged at the base causing it to split and and fall over. Southern California Edison personnel were requested to respond to the location for repairs.
According to authorities, the cause of the crash was a faulty brake pedal that had recently been replaced on the older model Honda. The driver was unable to break causing him to lose control of the vehicle and eventually crash.
No injuries or outages were reported as a result of the crash.
