Used Car Giveaway Date Announced Plus The WOW Factor

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Look throughout social media and the trending topic in the High Desert is “who won the car?” Valley Hi Toyota’s successful car giveaway campaign has caused quite a stir on Facebook.

“We’re so excited about the engagement we’re receiving online,” says Todd Stokes, General Manager at the Victorville dealership. “We’re approaching the holiday season which makes this even more special. It’s the spirit of giving.”

Valley Hi Toyota will kickstart WOW! on Tuesday October 13th at 9:30 in the morning. WOW! which stands for Weeks of Winners will begin with a gift set ($200 value) provided by Good Dog Training by Charlie. “We want people to win something they will actually use,” says Brian Ortega, social media marketing manager. “For instance, day 1 begins with an awesome prize pack by our good friend Charlie, if someone won who doesn’t own a dog, or is a cat person- well, where’s the fun in that!?”

Contestants will have an opportunity to post stories, jokes, or state why they should win the prize-of-the-day throughout the day of the post only. Each day for 13 days the contests will end at 8:30pm and a winner will be selected by 9:30 that same evening.

Ortega says, “This is something totally out of the ordinary, but that’s why I think people enjoy engaging with us online. Of course, we’re a car dealership, but we’re also part of the community- that’s why we do things like this, to give back to the community that supports us in return.” Local businesses from coffee shops, to a burger restaurant, to a crossfit gym are offering prizes. “We’re not going to say which business is assigned a certain day, you just gotta visit our Facebook daily to see if that is a prize you’d like to win,” jokes Ortega.

All of this will lead up Used Car Giveaway number 10. The contest winner will randomly be selected on Tuesday, October 27. They will be able to pick up their new-to-them Camry on Thursday, October 29, the same day as Valley Hi Toyota’s community Halloween Event. Spots still remain, but to participate you must sign up online. Space is limited, so visit https://www.valleyhitoyota.com/halloween-contest.htm for more details and for tickets to the free event.

Stokes said, “We had nearly 3000 entries, by far our most ever! I’m sure whoever name is announced on October 27, that person will be surprised, ecstatic, and grateful. I have so much fun doing these giveaways, who knows what’s next? It is football season…hmm.” Check out GM Todd Stokes sporting a wig, playing the guitar, and lip-syncing to Europe’s “The Final Countdown” here (https://youtu.be/7-oWq3_25ME)
