BARSTOW, Calif. – On Friday, September 1st, 2017, law enforcement personnel from the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Area office in partnership with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henderson Police Department, and the Nevada Highway Patrol, will be conducting a joint enforcement operation, on Interstate 15 near Stateline.
This enforcement operation will take place throughout the day. Law enforcement agencies will conduct enforcement by utilizing patrol vehicles, helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, motorcycles and other special enforcement units to patrol Interstate 15.
The California Highway Patrol strives to make California a great place to live, work, and travel by providing the highest level of Safety, Service, and Security. This is accomplished by reducing traffic related fatalities, injuries, and crime.
Additionally, this special enforcement operation supports the California Highway Patrol’s mission of assisting allied agencies to provide superior service to the public.
