VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man was found unresponsive inside a tent Tuesday night near the I-15 freeway in Victorville, prompting a death investigation.
The incident was reported on March 10, 2026, at about 8:40 p.m., in the area of North D Street and the southbound I-15 freeway on-ramp.
Deputies with the Victorville Police Department responded to the location after receiving a report of an unresponsive subject inside a tent.
Authorities said the cause and manner of death remain under investigation.
Socorro Cuevas, public information officer for the Victorville Police Department, said the identity of the decedent has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
No additional information was immediately available.
