Two Suspects Arrested in Residential Burglary

According to a news release, “On Monday, at 12:30 p.m., Hesperia Deputy Jody Watson responded to a residential robbery in the 7000 block of Arrowhead Lake Road. The female victim reported 2 men had just kicked open the rear door of her residence. As the suspects were entering the home, the victim screamed causing them to retreat and flee in an awaiting vehicle.  She called 911 and was able to give the dispatcher detailed descriptions of the suspects and their getaway car.

While enroute to the Arrowhead Lake Road address, Deputy Antonio Higuera observed a vehicle matching the description driving westbound on Main Street. Deputy Higuera turned around and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of Main Street and C Avenue. The two occupants, Robert Nathaniel Green, 20, from San Bernardino,  and Bobby Lake, 23, from Redlands, were identified as the robbery suspects and taken into custody without incident.

Robert Green, who was on CDC Parole for PC459 burglary, was arrested and booked at the Victor Valley Jail for  PC212.5(a), robbery; PC459, burglary and is being held on $200,000 bail.  Green was also booked for an outstanding $5000 warrant and a no bail hold has been issued for violation of parole.  Green, who is a documented San Bernardino area gang member, faces additional gang enhancement charges.

Bobby Lake was arrested and booked at the Victor Valley Jail for PC212.5(a), robbery; PC459, burglary and is being held on $200,000 bail.  Lake also faces additional gang enhancement charges.
