Two Men With Outstanding Warrants Arrested After Stealing Beer
VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): Two men were taken into custody after stealing beer from a local liquor store authorities said. On Thursday, April 14, 2016 detectives from the Victorville station spotted a man carrying a case of beer from a nearby liquor store to a 1993 Toyota Camry that was waiting on an adjacent street.
The male suspect got into the passenger side of the vehicle and they immediately left the location. The deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver failed to yield. They continued to follow the suspects for a short time before the suspect stopped the vehicle on Nyack Road.
The passenger, identified as 24-year-old Victorville, Jay Leslie Knowles was detained in the vehicle. The driver, 21-year-old Adelanto resident, Keshawn Michael Ramseur exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The deputies followed pursuing suspect Ramseur through the surrounding neighborhood until he was spotted in the garage of a home. Ramseur was taken into custody without further incident.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for conspiracy, retail theft, and shoplifting, as well as outstanding warrants.
