Two Juveniles Arrested for Attempting to Break Into A School

VICTORVILLE: San Bernardino Sheriff’s dispatch received a call reporting a commercial burglary on the campus of Eagle Ranch elementary school just before 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday.
Upon arrival an officer attempted to make contact with two suspects and both suspects attempted to run from the officer. After a brief foot pursuit both suspects were caught.
Police detained both juvenile suspects and after an infield line up both were taken into custody.
A vigilant neighbor called dispatch after observing the suspects acting suspicious. The witness observed the juveniles using a large piece of plywood to smash out the window of a portable located on the south-east corner of the school.
The school campus is currently closed due to spring break.
