Two Injured, Including Victorville Deputy, in Crash at Seventh Avenue and Nisqualli Road

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A crash involving a Victorville Police Department patrol vehicle sent a deputy and one other person to the hospital Monday afternoon and prompted a hard closure of the busy intersection at Seventh Avenue and Nisqualli Road.

The collision occurred around 3:10 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, in the City of Victorville.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jenny L. Smith described the sequence of the crash, saying the patrol unit struck the Honda before the force of the collision carried the vehicles into the pickup.

“The Sheriff’s unit collided with the Honda, and when that collision occurred, they were pushed into the red truck,” Smith said.

The third vehicle involved was a red 2008 Ford Ranger pickup truck. The Honda sustained significant front-end damage consistent with the initial impact.

Several other vehicles stopped immediately after the crash but were not involved. Those drivers remained at the scene to provide statements to investigators and were later allowed to leave.
