VICTORVILLE, Calif: (VVNG.com)- Two women were transported to local hospitals following a traffic collision.
The two-vehicle collision was reported at about 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 11th, at the intersection of El Evado Road and Palmdale Road.
A silver Kia Spectra and a silver Toyota Yaris collided in the intersection.
Due to the impact, the Yaris was pushed onto the east side of Palmdale Road and the rear of the car pushed into the sign at Circle K. The Yaris sustained major damage. The Kia came to rest facing the opposite direction of traffic on the eastbound side of Palmdale Road.
Eastbound traffic on Palmdale Road was temporarily blocked while tow trucks removed the vehicles from the roadway.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
