Two Hesperia businesses burglarized within hours

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police are investigating a couple of smash and grab burglaries in the City of Hesperia.
The first of the two burglaries happened on Monday, January 13, 2020, at about 12:15 am.
On Monday, January 13, 2020, at approximately 12:15 am deputies responded to Sherwin Williams paint store located at 11938 Hesperia Road for an audible burglar alarm.
When police arrived they found the front glass door shattered.
“Two cash registers were pried open and over $450.00 in cash and coins stolen,” stated sheriff’s spokeswoman Taylor Reynolds.
The second burglary was reported a couple of hours later at 3:00 am. This time deputies responded to Sally’s Beauty Supply located at 12717 Main Street, for an audible burglar alarm and found the front glass door shattered.
Reynolds said, “the inside of the business was ransacked and two cash trays missing.”
Both of the investigations are on-going and it’s unknown if they are related. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hesperia Police Department at 760-947-1500.
