The investigation stems from a January 16, 2026, shooting that occurred around 8:21 p.m. near Glen Canyon Lane and Burwood Avenue in Victorville. Sheriff’s dispatch received multiple reports of gunfire in the area. Deputies arrived at the scene and found Rosales lying in the street, suffering from gunshot wounds.
