BAKER:(VVNG.com)- Two air ambulances have been requested to transport two seriously injured patients following a single vehicle rollover.
The rollover was reported at 11:23 A.M., on Monday, July 27, 2015 on the northbound 15 freeway near the Zzyzx Road Off Ramp.
When first responders arrived on scene they located a single vehicle on its roof with major damage. SB County Fire tweeted, #SBCoFD and #BakerEMS on scene traffic collision with extrication.
Two medical helicopters have been requested to transport two immediate patients. The designated landing zone will be on the freeway approximately 1 mile south of Zzyzx Road.
Traffic near the scene of the accident is backed up for several miles.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
