Tuesday Murder in Hesperia Remains Unsolved

HESPERIA, Calif. ( A man’s body was found on a dirt road in Hesperia Tuesday morning, and now authorities are asking for the public’s help with information that may assist in the investigation.

Deputies from the Hesperia Police Department responded to reports of an unresponsive man in the area of Live Oak Street and 11th Avenue at approximately 6:01 a.m. on March 7th.

“Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency fire personnel responded and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene,” Sheriff’s officials said.

It has not been made clear if the Hispanic male adult was shot and killed at the location or if the incident occurred elsewhere.

The identity of the victim has not released as of Wednesday afternoon, pending notification of the victim’s next of kin.
