Truck pulls out in front of SUV on Ridgecrest Drive in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Officers with the California Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision near the community of Spring Valley Lake on Sunday.
It happened at 12:30 pm, on Ridgecrest Road and Vista Point Drive in Victorville and involved a 2011 Chevy Traverse SUV and a blue Dodge Ram truck.
“I was driving northbound on Ridgecrest and the truck just pulled out right in front of me, there was nothing I could do. It happened so fast I couldn’t avoid it,” the woman told Victor Valley News.
The two vehicles collided at the intersection and the truck ended up on the hood of the SUV.
The driver and one other another occupant inside the SUV sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene.
The official cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Victorville CHP office.
