5K Race Hosted By Victorville Police

The Victorville City Police / Fire Activities League is preparing the TRIBUTE TO HEROES 5K CHALLENGE, a 5k running race that will directly benefit the Victorville Police / Fire Activities League, the Sheriff’s Employee Assistance Team (SEAT), and the Victorville Police Department’s Station Activities Committee. SEAT proceeds will benefit the family of Detective Jeremiah MacKay, who was fatally wounded in the manhunt for Christopher Dorner, and Deputy Alex Collins, who was seriously injured.
The TRIBUTE TO HEROES 5K CHALLENGE is schedule to take place on Saturday, June 8th, 2013, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Victor Valley College.
Hosted by the Victorville Police Department and the Victorville Police & Fire Activities League, The TRIBUTE To HEROES CHALLENGE 5K is dedicated to honoring the heroes who serve our country and communities.
This event is a 5K on and off-road running race that pits runners against challenging hill climbs and numerous man made obstacles, including the Police car and Fire Engine Code 3 lights and siren gauntlets!
