CAJON PASS:(VVNG.com)- Traffic on the southbound 15 freeway near the 215 split is heavy on this Sunday night due to a multi-vehicle traffic collision. According to commuters, the backup begins as far back as Bear Valley Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, at about 5:59 PM, a motor home towing a 25 ft toy hauler hit 4-5 vehicles. A Sig Alert was issued at 6:28 PM that would remain in effect for 1-2 hours.
By 6:50 PM all vehicles had been moved to the right shoulder. However, debris is currently spread all over the southbound lanes of the freeway. A CalTrans sweeper has been requested to help remove the debris.
