Traffic Collision on I-15 South Leads to Major Injuries, Lane Closures

DEVORE, CA (VVNG.com) – Early morning commuters on Interstate 15 South experienced significant delays due to a multi-vehicle collision near the I-215 interchange that resulted in major injuries.

At approximately 5:38 AM, a black Honda Civic and a black Chevy Silverado were reported to have crashed, sending both vehicles into the center divider, and initiating a chain of events that led to traffic disruptions and major injuries.

The collision resulted in at least one wheel obstructing the lanes, creating hazardous driving conditions for approaching traffic.

Traffic control measures were put in place to ensure the safety of first responders and other motorists. At 6:16 AM, the right lane was reopened, enabling some traffic to pass the scene while emergency services continued their work.
