TMZ: Kobe Bryant and others killed in Calabasas helicopter crash

UPDATE – Kobe’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Maria Onore Bryant better known as “GiGi” was one of the five people killed in the crash. Gianna loved basketball like her father and was a student at Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles.
CALABASAS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Kobe Bryant and several others were tragically killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning in Calabasas, according to TMZ.
TMZ broke the news at about 11:30 am on January 26, 2020.
According to the TMZ article, 41-year-old Kobe and several other’s people were on his private helicopter when it went down in the 4200 block of Las Virgenes Road in Calabasas.
The LA County Sheriff’s Office tweeted and confirmed five people were killed and there were no survivors in the Calabasas helicopter crash.
Bryant’s wife, Vannesa was not amongst the dead, according to TMZ.
According to Wikipedia, Kobe Bean Bryant is an American former professional basketball player. He played his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. He entered the NBA directly from high school and won five NBA championships.
The helicopter involved in the crash is a Sikorsky S-76D.
