KRAMER JUNCTION, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Authorities are searching for a premanufactured “tiny home” that was stolen while parked at Kramer Junction located at US Highway 395 and US Highway 58.
The theft happened during a two-week delay in transportation to northern California caused by road closures.
Barstow Sheriff’s officials said the home was left on the lot for a couple of weeks before the transport company came back to retrieve the home.
Upon their arrival on October 5, 2023, the home was no longer at the location. It is believed unknown suspects hooked the home up to a vehicle and drove away with it.
Notably, the stolen tiny home is estimated to be valued at over $250,000. Authorities are currently investigating the matter to locate the missing property and identify the perpetrators.
