Three Teenagers and 19 Year Old Arrested For Home Burglary

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Three teenagers and a 19-year-old male were arrested on Wednesday in connection with a home burglary.
At 11:28 AM, the Desert Dispatch Center received an alarm call for a residence on Heather Circle in Victorville.
According to authorities, Sergeant Brian Roper and Sergeant Steve Pennington, of the Victorville station, were in the area and responded to the call.
As Roper and Pennington neared the residence they observed two males jumping a fence at the location. As other deputies arrived at the location two more suspects were seen. After a short pursuit all four of the suspects, 19-year-old Lance Ward, a 16-year-old male, and two 17-year-old males, were taken into custody.
Upon inspecting the house deputies found the suspects had entered through a window and gathered multiple items, including big screen televisions and jewelry, and had piled them in one room. It appeared they were preparing the property to be easily taken from the house and loaded into a vehicle. Had it not been for the homeowners having a home alarm, the suspects may have succeeded in their attempt to take the property.
Ward was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. The three Juveniles were arrested and booked at the San Bernardino Juvenile Hall.
