CAJON PASS:(VVNG.com)- Dispatch received a report of a head on traffic collision involving two vehicles on Cajon Boulevard and Swarthout Canyon Road south of Cleghorn Road along Route 66 in the Cajon Pass.
Per CHP incident logs, the accident was reported on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:51 P.M., involving a black Jeep and a white Chevy Impala.
According to a witness, the Jeep rolled over several times before landing right side up. Three occupants of the Jeep were injured and required medical attention.
Both vehicles have been removed from the roadway and traffic is no longer affected.
Although light rain was falling at the time of the accident, the exact cause of the collision is currently unknown. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
