Three Apple Valley men arrested in connection with Hesperia commercial burglary.

According to a San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department press release, “On May 5th, 2013, at about 4:00 A.M., deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to a report of a commercial burglary at a restaurant in the 11000 Block of I Avenue in Hesperia. Deputies discovered that the suspect(s) had broken the store front window, entered the location and stole an ATM machine and other property. While processing the scene, deputies located evidence identifying one suspect, Chad Boyko. Hesperia Station Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Boyko.

During the course of the investigation detectives and deputies from the Hesperia Station Gang Team executed two search warrants in the Apple Valley area searching for Boyko and additional evidence of the burglary. During the service of one of the warrants in the 22000 Block of Lone Eagle Court in Apple Valley, investigators discovered an illegal marijuana sales business was being operated and the resident, Jack Telliano was arrested. A stolen motorcycle was also recovered from the residence. Another subject found at the location, Steven Villagrana was found to have an outstanding warrant and was also arrested.

Over the next several days, detectives continued to search for Boyko. On May 7, 2013, Boyko, who was aware he was wanted, contacted detectives and turned himself in at a business in south Apple Valley. Boyko was taken into custody without further incident and he was later booked at the Victorville Jail for commercial burglary. On the Same day, the stolen ATM machine which was severly vandalized was recovered in the remote desert area of southeast Apple Valley.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives are actively searching for additional suspects in the case.
