Thomas and Friends Coming to Orange Show Railway

(VVNG.com)- Thomas and friends are coming to the Orange Empire Railway Museum in the city of Perris and want to meet you on November 8th, 9th, 11th, 15th or 16th! The day out with Thomas The Thrill of the Ride Tour 2014 offers aspiring engineers and their families a chance to take a 25-minute ride with the famous #1 engine.

This year, for the first time ever, Thomas’ friend Percy, the locomotive, will also be there!  Children will have the opportunity to meet Sir 1trainTopham Hatt, the Superintendent of the railroad and talk to Thomas! This is a visit that will astonish the children and adults alike.

Expect to spend the day enjoying child inspired activities, stop by the imagination station full of train tables and awesome building activity’s your children will love. That’s not it, before you end your fun-filled adventure make sure to get your Thomas-themed stamps, temporary tattoos, do some arts and crafts, hear some stories, watch some videos and play some games. There will also be coloring, live children’s music, a petting zoo, bounce houses, sing-along and a Thomas gift store.

Hop on the streetcar or trolley to explore the entire history-rich museum and go back in time to where  trains, conductors, whistles, bells and steam were a part of the way we traveled.

A Day Out With Thomas will keep adults who love trains and children who love Thomas entertained the whole day. Families should arrive no later than one hour prior to scheduled departure.  Tickets to this star-studded adventure start at $19 for children two and older.

The Orange Empire Railway Museum www.oerm is a volunteer-run organization that has been preserving Southern California’s railway history since 1956. The museum’s mission is to education the public on the technology, history and impact of the railroad transportation industry in the West. Over 200 rail cars and locomotives, ranging from Los Angeles street cars to modern diesel locomotives, are preserved at the museum’s 90-acre site in Perris, California, which is open 363 days of the year.
