VICTOR VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- Going about our busy lives so many of us forget to notice the little things, things that make an otherwise sometimes drab existence, shine with beauty. First responders have answered to the call of duty, making the hero calling their job and many going beyond their job to expose the heart within the hero.
These men and women do these things not to be noticed, most of these things are done in private or where they can not be noticed by anyone other than those their actions directly affect. Two recent true gestures of care and kindness were recently caught on camera.
Victor Valley news member, Maira Agabo posted a photo, later identified as Captain Murphy from the Victorville Division of the San Bernardino Fire Department. Captain Murphy was photographed stopping what he was doing to walk an older man across the street. “Captain Murphy is a great guy who goes above and beyond serving the high desert communities,” commented Captain Jay Hausman.
Just a few days later another Victor Valley resident took a moment to bring attention to the CHP officer, officer Morales, who stopped to help her and her mother change their flat tire. “As me and my mom were driving down the hill our car got a complete flat tire, and this cop was kind enough to offer to help us change the tire. We are blessed to have cops like this in the High desert,” shared Ashley Barraza.
Both of these individual first responders were caught on camera protecting and serving, beyond the call of duty. These act of kindness are not their jobs, but make a difference in the lives of those who receive their assistance.
