Teens Arrested in Strong Arm Robbery

HESPERIA: Detective Joe Garay from the Hesperia Station arrested two male juveniles for strong-arm robbery. The two juveniles, who are 14-year-old twin brothers, were identified as suspects in a March 22, 2014 strong-arm robbery. Both teenagers were arrested on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 1:44 p.m.

According to a news release, the victim was walking home from Hesperia Jr. High when the two suspects, who attend the same school, assaulted and robbed him. They fled taking the victim’s tablet computer. The victim suffered minor injuries.

In the course of his investigation, Detective Garay was able to link the two suspects to the robbery and recover the tablet. The juveniles were located and arrested at school Wednesday afternoon. They were booked at the High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for PC 211, robbery.
