Team Kayla Never Give Up Hope

(VVNG.com)- Kayla, an 18-year-old 2013 Silverado High School graduate was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor on September 28th, 2010.
Although Kayla’s brain tumor is considered terminal and the odds are stacked against her, she plans on proving those odds wrong. Kayla is planning her future and would like to attend an Art Institute to become a photographer. Her dream is to work as a photographer for Rolling Stone Magazine.
Kayla loves charity work, as a matter of fact, this past Christmas Kayla, along with her friends and family made and donated over 150 fleece blankets for children and their siblings at the Pediatric ward of Loma Linda. Friend Luana Navarro said, “The year she had brain surgery in L.A.. she was appalled that the children’s room was so bare. She collected gift cards and bought board games and toys, so the children would have something to do during their visits”.
This young music lover credits her family and friends for her positive attitude and determination to fight her life. Team Kayla is a four-year, Relay For Life team that raises money for Cancer Research. Kayla is working hard to get 1,000 “likes” on her Facebook page, Team Kayla “Never Give Up Hope”. Getting the word out can help raise the funds needed for the research toward, one day, hopefully soon, finding a possible cure for cancer.
