TEA LIFE: Victorville’s Newest Boba Shop Celebrates Its Grand Opening

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) – In the heart of the High Desert, a new oasis for boba enthusiasts is set to celebrate its grand opening today.

Mai Tran and Dan Tran, the husband-and-wife duo who own TEA LIFE, invite the community to join in the celebration hosted along with the Greater High Desert Chamber of Commerce starting at noon, Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

TEA LIFE, envisioned to be a hotspot for trendy bubble tea lovers, located at 17100 Bear Valley Rd, Ste C in Victorville, nestled between VONS and WingStop, now occupies a space once home to a GNC store.

This milestone marks a remarkable journey from their modest start just two years ago, selling delicious bubble tea from a 10×10 canopy at the Victor Valley College (VVC) farmers market.

“It’s a real American dream that our store is opening from such humble beginnings,” Mr. Tran told VVNG.

With a business built on resilience, the couple witnessed their dream flourish, even in challenging 40-degree weather, crediting their success to the unwavering support of their loyal customers. They remain committed to their roots, continuing to serve their specialty drinks at both VVC and a second farmers market in Hesperia.

Despite the new store’s recent “soft open,” which began in mid-December, the Trans are eager to officially welcome the neighborhood to TEA LIFE.

TEA LIFE simplifies the decision-making process with pre-selected toppings included in the price—though customization is always an option for those who prefer a personal touch.

The couple’s young son, widely known to farmers market regulars as Charlie, adds a neighborly charm to the business, now a family affair.

For this special occasion, TEA LIFE has announced a special offer: a free Signature Milk Tea or Classic Thai Tea with boba with any purchase over $10. However, this offer is available in person only, encouraging customers to experience the hospitable ambiance firsthand.

The opening event isn’t only about celebration; it’s a heartfelt thank you from the Trans to the community that has supported them one cup at a time.

With winter hours set from 11 am to 8 pm Monday to Saturday and from 12 pm to 7 pm on Sundays, TEA LIFE aims to be the go-to spot for boba lovers.

Those who can’t make it in person can still enjoy what TEA LIFE has to offer by visiting their website at www.drinktealife.com or ordering directly for delivery through Snackpass.
