Adelanto Home Invasion Robbery Nets Whopping $4.00

ADELANTO, Calif. ( A homeowner was assaulted by several men who barged into his home during a home invasion robbery, authorities said.

On Friday, January 27, 2017, at approximately 11:38 am deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, assigned to the city of Adelanto, were dispatched to a report of a home invasion robbery in the city of Adelanto.

Deputy Kamden Lang responded to the call and learned five male subjects had forced entry to the victim’s residence, assaulted the victim by punching them in the head and demanded money.

“The suspects took $4.00 from the victim and left the residence. The victim suffered minor injuries and did not want medical attention,” according to a Sheriff’s press release.

Deputy Lang attempted to locate the suspects but they had fled the area, however, an arrest warrant for the only known suspect, Keneith Dontez Mackey, 28, a resident of Adelanto, was obtained.

On February 6, 2017 Deputy Robert Escalera and Deputy Craig Vanden-Bossche returned to Keneith Mackey’s residence where he was located.

Keneith Dontez Mackey was arrested on a charge of Home Invasion Robbery and booked at Hight Desert Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail.
